Project Overview | AI-Informed Employee Internal Tools

As an embedded consultant at KPMG, I designed AI-powered internal tools, a proprietary agentic AI chatbot, employee reimbursement workflows, and HR capacity planning tools across government, healthcare, and enterprise advisory sectors.

KPMG is a Big Four professional services firm operating across 155 countries with 275,000+ employees and $38.4 billion in annual revenue. During my engagement, I worked across the full design spectrum, from defining a foundational design system to delivering pixel-perfect UI comps and functional prototypes across multiple concurrent client workstreams.

Key Contributions

Defined the foundational design system for the KPMG Advisory platform, conducting feature audits across cross-functional teams to align components, enforce accessibility standards, and ensure brand consistency across platforms.
Delivered end-to-end UX/UI engaging with multiple concurrent workstreams, from competitive analysis and wireframes through pixel-perfect Figma files and fully functional prototypes. My involvement included an agentic AI chatbot, employee reimbursement workflows, the Katalyst accounting platform, and a State of Colorado healthcare portal.
Introduced formal UX research practices to the newly-formed KPMG Advisory team, evaluating 20+ tools across pricing, features, and fit, conducting vendor interviews, and delivering tailored implementation recommendations that gave the team a scalable foundation for evidence-based design decisions.
Contributed future-state design strategy across AI-powered tools, HR capacity planning systems, and government and healthcare client engagements, facilitating working sessions and maintaining Mural boards as the primary collaboration and documentation tool across teams.
